A School Day Built for Stronger, More Capable Kids

Apogee NOVA is a small, leadership-based learning environment where academics are supported, but the whole child is developed through movement, responsibility, projects, outdoor time, real-world skills, and character formation.

Small by design. High standards. Real-world growth.

THE PROBLEM MANY PARENTS SEE

Many Parents Know Their Child Needs More Than a Traditional Classroom

Most children are not struggling because they need more sitting, more worksheets, or more screen time.

  • They need rhythm.
  • They need movement.
  • They need meaningful responsibility.
  • They need adults who hold standards.
  • They need space to build confidence by doing hard and useful things.

Apogee NOVA Core was created for families who want education to form the whole person - not just complete academic tasks.

THE BETTER WAY

Academics Matter. But They Are Not the Whole Mission.

At Apogee NOVA, learners receive structured academic support while also practicing the habits and skills that shape capable young people.

  • Core academic skills
  • Physical fitness and movement
  • Leadership and communication
  • Personal responsibility
  • Outdoor play and exploration
  • Project-based learning
  • Life skills and useful work
  • Socratic discussion
  • Character, service, and community

The goal is not just a child who can pass assignments. The goal is a child who is becoming stronger, more responsible, more confident, and more prepared for life.

DAILY RHYTHM

The Apogee Daily Rhythm

Children need structure, movement, challenge, responsibility, and meaningful work. Our daily rhythm is built to support focus, confidence, and growth.

  • 8:45–9:00 AM — Arrival + Readiness Learners arrive, put away gear, transition into the day, and prepare for huddle.
  • 9:00–10:15 AM — Huddle, Movement, Fitness, Snack + Mindset The day begins with leadership language, physical training, and intentional preparation. This helps learners regulate their bodies, focus their minds, and enter the day with purpose.
  • 10:15 AM–12:15 PM — Core Academic Skills Learners work through academic skill development with support, structure, and accountability. Academics matter at Apogee, but they are not treated as the only measure of growth.
  • 12:15–1:15 PM — Lunch, Outdoor Time + Social Practice Learners eat, play, talk, reset, build friendships, and practice communication in a natural environment.
  • 1:15–2:30 PM — Projects, Life Skills, Farm Work, Socratic Discussion + Real-World Learning Afternoons are built for application. Learners engage in hands-on projects, useful work, leadership practice, outdoor learning, discussions, field preparation, and skill-building experiences.
  • 2:30–3:00 PM — Cleanup, Responsibility + Closing Huddle The day ends with ownership. Learners clean up, complete responsibilities, reflect on the day, and prepare to return home with clarity.

WHY APOGEE CORE FEELS DIFFERENT

What Makes Apogee Core Different

Not a traditional classroom. Not daycare. A small, high-standards environment that prioritizes movement, responsibility, leadership, and real-world competence.

Movement Is Built Into the Day

Children are not designed to sit still all day. Movement supports attention, confidence, emotional regulation, and physical health.

Responsibility Is Practiced Daily

Learners are expected to help, clean up, contribute, and take ownership. Responsibility is not a lecture here. It is practiced.

Academics Are Supported With Structure

Learners work on core academic skills with guidance and accountability while still having time for projects, fitness, discussion, and real-world application.

Projects Make Learning Real

We use hands-on projects, useful work, field experiences, and practical challenges so learners connect ideas to real life.

Leadership Starts Early

Mixed-age learning gives older learners chances to lead and younger learners chances to learn from peers. Communication, service, and ownership are part of the culture.

Community Matters

Children need belonging, standards, and meaningful relationships with adults and peers. Apogee is intentionally small so culture can be protected.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Apogee Core May Be a Strong Fit If You Want Your Child To…

  • Move more and sit less
  • Build confidence through challenge
  • Practice responsibility every day
  • Receive academic support without school becoming only about academics
  • Spend more time outdoors
  • Learn practical life skills
  • Develop stronger communication and leadership
  • Be part of a small, high-standards community
  • Become more capable, not just more compliant

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

Apogee Core Is Not for Every Family

Apogee works best when parents want a high-standards environment and are willing to partner with us at home.

This may not be the right fit if a family wants:

  • A traditional classroom model
  • A screen-heavy academic environment
  • A drop-off program with no parent alignment
  • Low expectations around responsibility, behavior, or effort
  • A program that removes challenge instead of teaching children how to face it

A SIMPLE PLAN

The Next Step Is Simple

  • 1. Schedule a Visit Come see the environment, ask questions, and help us understand your child.
  • 2. Determine Fit We look at family goals, learner readiness, program capacity, and whether Apogee Core is the right environment.
  • 3. Apply + Reserve Your Seat If it is a strong fit, complete the application process and reserve your child’s seat.

FINAL STEP

Give Your Child a School Day That Builds More Than Academics

If you want your child to become stronger, more responsible, more confident, and more capable - while still receiving academic support - Apogee NOVA Core may be the right fit.
